Results from the 2016 CAASPP put the tuition free public Chino Valley charter school at the top of the class for student performance
Oxford Preparatory Academy students headed back to school this September and right into a celebration of their hard work and achievement on last spring’s California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) test. The California Department of Education (CDE) has released statewide results for all public schools and OPA Chino Valley has earned its place at the top as the highest performing K-8 public school in San Bernardino County. OPA is also the top performing amongst all public charter schools in San Bernardino County.
The news of this year’s student performance results simply provides more evidence that OPA offers a high quality school of choice. Our program works for all kids, regardless of background, strengths or challenges. Parents and students love our school because we offer a well-rounded program that encompasses academics, athletics, character education, citizenship, and social- emotional learning. The collaboration among our thousands of parents, teachers and students is to be celebrated and we applaud their commitment to “crushing the CAASPP” and meeting their goals. –Andrew Crowe, Chancellor, Oxford Preparatory Academy Chino Valley

Creating long-term academic success takes place through a school-wide, data driven model of instruction that shapes a culture of high expectations for every student on campus. This is accomplished by promoting college readiness and by introducing all students to the comprehensive benefits of attending a higher learning institution.
Oxford Preparatory Academy Chino Valley is a tuition-free public charter school serving transitional- kindergarten through eighth grade students with an innovative educational program based on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. The Chino Valley campus was founded in 2010 and chartered under Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) following unanimous approval by the CVUSD School Board. The school was renewed for five additional years by unanimous vote by the CVUSD Board in 2012. In a surprise move, the CVUSD Board voted to end the award winning, top performing charter school program when it petitioned for its five year renewal in the early spring of 2016. OPA is currently appealing this decision to the State Board of Education. For more information about Oxford Preparatory Academy, please visit www.oxfordchampions.com and www.oparenewal.com.
